Advantages
Large radius rolling of tubes, pipes, channels, angles, flat bars and T-bars is usually done on a pyramid-style 3 roll bending machine. When rolling pipe or tube, a 3 roll bending machine is needed to match the contour of the tube, so as to prevent the wall stress from flattening the tube.
To roll your pipe/tube to a small radius that can be accurately done, then you need a rotary draw tube rolling machine. It uses a die set that matches the size of pipe/tube and the required radius. The outer die pulls the pipe / tube as it rotates around the inner mandrel.
