We offer both four-high leveling machine and six-high leveling machine.
Four-high metal plate leveling machinery has the simplest leveler configuration. It can effectively control the shape of plate. However, the backup rolls may burnish the surface of work rolls. That may leave a visible stripe on some sensitive materials. On polished stainless or aluminum, this surface imprint can be objectionable.
If such stripping or marking is a problem, a six-high leveler may be needed. Intermediate rolls are designed to support the work rolls, and they in turn are supported by rows of backup rolls. A burnish mark on an intermediate roll will not transfer to the work roll, and this helps to eliminate the problem of striping. But this kind of steel plate leveling machine can be very stiff, and it cannot realize optimum shape control.
Features
Four-high leveler may have 11, 13, 15, 17, 19 rolls, but a six-high roll leveling machine may have 17 or 19 rolls.
Note
Users should have an understanding of the maintenance of leveling machine, which includes the following aspects:
1. Place grease where there are grease fittings once a month. This can be beneficial to the bearing’s lubrication.
2. Pay attention to the cleaning of roller surface. Welding slag, short sheet metal or other things are prohibited from falling into the gap between rollers, so as to avoid damaging the work rolls of the metal plate leveling machinery.
3. After using the machine for a long time, please check if there are loose screw nuts. If so, use wrench to screw them tightly.
